Job Summary
The Inside Sales/Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving new product development activities throughout the lifecycle of projects, from business award to production launch and beyond.
Responsible for overseeing film decoration development deliverables related to cost, quality, timing, and functional objectives. The Coordinator ensures successful project delivery to our customers coordinating across internal teams within KURZ (spanning the US, Germany, and China) by integrating Sales, Engineering, Production, and Quality disciplines.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Set up new customers and products within company systems for newly awarded projects, including Finance and Sales.
Obtain precise project requirements from OEM/Tier customers and ensure internal alignment on deliverables and timing.
Monitor project status to identify and report obstacles and engage teams for timely issue-resolution or escalate to Management when necessary.
Pro-actively coordinate internal teams relating to product development activities (eg. sample-making; internal film production trials; external part trials; mastering and appearance approval)
Review and negotiate customer documents such as Purchasing Terms & Conditions, Quality agreements, and packaging specifications.
Lead physical property validation by arranging test plaques and coordinating spec-testing.
Coordinate IMDS submission and assist the team in obtaining final PPAP.
Provide customer quality support and perform local RTV reviews as needed.
Familiarity with APQP(Advanced Product Quality Planning)/product development.

Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
Min. of 2 years of ‘8D’ methodology
Min. of 2 years of experience in the Automotive industry at OEM and/or Tier Supply levels.
Min. of 3 years of experience automotive Project Management
Familiarity with decorative or film products for interior and exterior applications, including injection molding, in automotive or white goods/appliance applications, is a plus.
PMP certification and/or Salesforce experience is a plus.
