Kustom US has an opening for a Contents Technician. This position is responsible is predominately responsible for cleaning and deodorizing residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by water, fire, mold, etc.

What Are We Looking For?

• Valid Driver’s License
• Construction experience is a plus!
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer navigation skills

Core Responsibilities :

• Interface compassionately with clients and transparently relay information to the Project Managers.
• Photograph / record areas to document damage to the residence or commercial property.
• Process a master inventory of all the items belonging to the property and evaluate the cleaning or restoration efforts needed.
• Securely package, move, and transport contents to and from the cleaning and restoration facility.
• Perform heavy cleaning, treatments, and deodorizing duties during and post construction efforts to prepare for safe re-occupancy.
• Identify and document items damaged beyond repair.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Must have intermediate computer & technology skills i.e., navigating software, using digital camera, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook email.
• 1-3 years working in housekeeping / cleaning, general labor or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience in emergency restoration / construction OR warehouse / moving company experience is highly desired!
• Must be comfortable with heights to climb ladders and extremely heat and humidity, or cold weather.
