Senior Systems Analyst

Position: Senior Systems Analyst Project Management

Location: Remote (candidate must work in HST Time Zone)

Duration: 6-12 months

Position Detail:

The Systems Analyst reports to the Project Manager, responsible for assessing an organization's information systems, analyzing business requirements, and offering appropriate technological solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. The Systems Analyst collaborates closely with all classifications of employees, managers, and IT teams to collect requirements, assess processes, and build solutions that support organizational goals.

Job Functions:

Designing and creating specifications as requested by the sales and accounts management team

Collaborating with managers and consultants to effectively document business processes

Ensuring that the appropriate infrastructure elements, such as documents, policy documents, manuals, periodicals, etc., are up to date and readily available

Creating and developing functional system requirements for improving performances, quality, external interfaces, and constraints

Checking and analyzing derived requirements that meet the customers' requests

Outlining specifications of the requirements using standard templates for both used cases and detailed software

Managing requirements and making sure that they are stored in automated systems

Recording, manipulating and making reports on the requirements that are in the rational tool suite

Supervising requirements traceability and recording the status of the requirements through the course of the project

Monitoring the changes in baseline requirements through the effective application of change control processes and tools

Contributing to the development of test plans and test scripts as well as performing test execution as required

Technical Skills and Abilities:

Maintaining confidentiality when working with sensitive corporate data

Cloud: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Google Apigee API Management

Database and Tools: Oracle 8i/9i/10g, MS SQL2000/2005/7, MySQL, DB2, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, RDBMS (Aurora PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase)

Deployment and Testing: Maven, Ant, Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, JMeter, M Unit, Jenkins, Docker

Design Skills: UML (Rational Rose, Visio), Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Java Enterprise, Design Patterns

Frameworks: Struts, Spring, JSF, MVC, Hibernate, jQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS, Angular 8, and Bootstrap

IDE: Eclipse IDE, RAD, NetBeans 6.x, RAD, IntelliJ, Spring Tool Suite, Visual Studio

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, is highly desirable

At least 10 years of IT experience

Minimum 3 years of supervision of leading teams and/or managing projects.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Analytical and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Office Suites

Ability to maintain confidentiality.
