RETAIL ACCOUNTING

 

Full Time Invoice Exception Auditor Coordinator, La Crosse, WI: Our Retail Accounting Department, located in La Crosse, WI at the Corporate Offices, is responsible for auditing the bookwork for our 800 retail store locations.  The Invoice Exception Auditor will ensure there is accurate reporting for invoices and inventory by researching and processing price discrepancy invoices, as well as verifying and correcting auditing records.  This person’s primary responsibility is to reconcile and approve store invoices to ensure proper payments to vendors and correct item inventory is received at the stores. This includes matching all physical invoices to the entered amounts, reconciling any differences in cost between a vendor’s price and Kwik Trip’s price, and verifying correct cost to retail ratio.  Additional tasks include but are not limited to:

• Research and process store invoices that contain pricing discrepancies
• Communicate with retail stores and vendors, informing them of correct procedures and changes in DSD invoicing
• Maintain an accurate flow of documentation and information to appropriate Support Center departments. 

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in related field
• Possess strong data entry skills
• Read, understand and interpret numbers
• Complete basic math computations
• Accurate and detail orientated
• Strong customer service skills
• Meet department deadlines
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills
• Operate a personal computer and possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Efficient with 10 key calculator; work well alone and with others; work with minimal supervision.
• Prior bookkeeping and retail experience is a plus.

 

Physical qualifications: twist, bend, reach regularly; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

 

Work Schedule:  Monday through Friday, daytime hours between 5:00 am to 5:00 pm. This position will also allow for a hybrid working schedule. (50% in office, 50% work from home)
