The Role
Your Role
As a Director in the Experience Portfolio, you will take primary responsibility for embedding experience centric design thinking into the CIO portfolio and wider Kyndryl Business. Through your relationships with CIO Portfolio managers, you will be interfacing with CIO and non-CIO leadership, including the Digital Workplace Practice, HR, other shared services groups and Country leadership teams. As a collaborative leader, you will develop an understanding of the end to end business processes CIO supports, as they relate to driving the Experience agenda. You will work alongside our communications and transformation teams to support Organizational change management and to ensure CIO supports Kyndryl commercial activities with our Customer Zero story.
You will be responsible for the strategic management of the Experience portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and delivers optimal value. You will work collaboratively across CIO and within Kyndryl supporting experience design and the delivery of the Customer Zero story. You will align with the performance excellence team where CIO programs require Experience design input, support or leadership.

This role requires the ability to travel 25% of the time based on business requirements.
If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $154,710 to $371,300 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part-time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

Required Qualifications:
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
  • Support the relationships between CIO and non-CIO business leaders, fostering strong relationships to ensure mutual understanding of priorities and strategic direction
  • Develop and lead a demand management process to assess, prioritize, and select proposals for inclusion in the portfolio activities based on strategic value, business impact, and resource availability
Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development:
  • Develop and manage an activity roadmap that provides visibility into current and future customer zero projects, their alignment with business strategy, and their inter-dependencies
  • Conduct continuous review and analysis of the activities conducted by the portfolio to identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for consolidation
Portfolio Performance
  • Manage and report on portfolio performance including, where applicable, financials & milestones in partnership with business operations and program management
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities to build a highly skilled portfolio management team
Portfolio Technical Leadership
  • Maintain a working understanding of the Enterprise Applications within the CIO portfolio and their application to Kyndryl and our customers, alongside more strategic tools and solutions.
  • Understand development roadmaps for each CIO portfolio and their relevance to Kyndryl and our Customer Zero activities
Portfolio Governance
  • Govern the demand process for activities conducted by the Portfolio team, in partnership with other CIO portfolio Managers
  • Work closely with the CIO governance structures for change management to ensure the CIO Experience strategy is incorporated into the design from the outset
  • Act as the joint custodian for the knowledge base for customer zero activities alongside CIO communications team and the Performance Excellence team.

Who You Are
  • Strong background in stakeholder management and demand management processes across multiple stakeholder groups in a Global setting
  • Demonstrable experience with business development, customer engagement and consulting in diverse settings
  • Player/coach leadership style, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of organizational change management methodologies and their relevance across different environments, and working knowledge of behavioural psychology
  • Experience as a technical platform leader working in a large global enterprise would be a plus but is not essential
  • Familiarity with governance, security, and compliance considerations (e.g. GDPR) in the context of global workforce management systems
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Psychology, IT or a related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience and qualifications
