Job Description

KSLD is seeking a candidate a Senior Content Strategist role as the company expands its business and commercialization of GaN LD and LD based products. We’re looking for an experienced Sr Content Strategist to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans that enhance our corporate brand and effectively engages our target audience. This role involves collaborating with cross functional teams, managing content creation, and driving marketing campaigns.

Specific Responsibilities

• Website:  own everything from front-end elements such as videos, graphics and webpages to back-end elements including site taxonomy and metadata
• Presentations:  own the looks and feel as well as the collaborating with stakeholders to create videos, graphics and content.
• Publications:  orchestrate the technical writing efforts to meet target engagement goals on schedule
• The Content Strategist will act as a key partner for designers and business stakeholders to develop content, ensuring alignment to the brand strategy
• Fluency in understanding and leveraging analytics to inform content strategy, draft KPIs and measure performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gain a deep understanding of business context, historical performance and market insights
• Work with teams to assess progress towards content goals, tracking and realigning as needed
• Partner with internal teams to leverage existing content while assessing need for development of new content based on new opportunities
• Work across teams to evolve best practices, processes, and methodologies for content creation, maintenance and archiving.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Graphic design and Animation or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 7 years' experience in B2B market with a focus on content creation and marketing of high-tech value-add solutions 
• Certified in graphic design is a preferred.
• Skilled at crafting strategies for a cohesive brand across multiple formats: webpage content, presentations, datasheets, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives with a track record for consistently meeting deadlines
• Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative to tackle new challenges and propose creative solutions
• Excited by the challenge of building a business that delivers compelling, differentiated solutions to our customers 
• Leadership skills required to successfully advocate for content from diverse, cross-functional teams

The full-time base salary range for the Sr Content Strategist position is $120,000 to $160,000 per annum.  The range reflects the minimum and maximum possible base salary for new hires for the role, based on the advertised location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
