Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable individual to join our team as an Office Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, parts sales, managing phone calls and scheduling, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge of the tractor trailer industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary
- Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Schedule appointments for service calls and trailer drop off/pick ups
- Assist with parts entry and inventory management
- Assist with Accounts Receivable
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support
- Perform general clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus
- Knowledge of or previous experience in the tractor trailer industry is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
