L.I.F.E Inc., is looking for a detailed oriented, analytical, self-motivated Bookkeeper to join our team! Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Offer, the Bookkeeper oversees the company’s financial data and compliance by ensuring that the accounts payable, account receivable, payroll and all daily financial entries and reconciliations are accurate. The bookkeeper will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.
Bookkeeper Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts: posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations as well as balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
- Maintains historical records by filing documents
- Makes general journal entries to adjust or correct posting as well as entries to close out general journal
- Creates invoices, and post to accounts receivable using a computer-based accounting system
- Assists in creating accounts work sheets for audits
- Prepares final reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions

Education and Experience:
- An associate degree or higher in accounting, finance or related field
- 2 years’ experience working as a bookkeeper
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience using a computer-based accounting system (Quick books – preferred)
