L'Oreal R&I has continuously invested upstream in its research with a high level of ambition. Our 3800 L'Oreal R&I people are talented and highly skilled, located in major markets, working in a cooperative way, opened to the world.
Our Skincare Development team is responsible for skin care product development that consist of OTCs, Photo-Protection, and formulas using challenging actives. With formulation science expertise and process optimization we deliver on new products for global developments. We maintain very close relationships with the business and maintain close interaction with many experts in safety, regulatory, scale-up and scientific platforms.
We are looking for a technical solution based Chemist able to deliver new products in our Clark, New Jersey research facility.
You Will . . .
- Develop new and robust skin care formulations correlating the relationship between ingredients and performance.
- Team-working collaboration in order to deliver on aggressive timelines with maximized operational efficiency and support.
- Be knowledgeable and consider the importance of processing, operating, and design factors that affect skin care formulations.
- Show creativity and resourcefulness to come up with solutions to issues, which may arise during product development and/or in anticipation to issues which may appear in pilot plant or manufacturing.
You Have . . .
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (required)
- Experienced at least 1-3 years in a laboratory environment required, industry experience preferred
- Well organized and hard-working and a team-player.
- Knowledgeable and willing to delve into emulsion theory, design, and processing.
- Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and computer skills
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
