What You Will Do:
The Amazon Media Manager leads the Amazon Search and Display (DSP) activation strategy, implementation, optimization, and reporting, to help accelerate LUXE sales and business growth on Amazon. Responsibilities include budget and media planning based on brand objectives, business plan / sales targets, data-driven targeting tactics that accelerate revenue and brand growth. Specifically, this role is hands-on-keyboard for campaign execution, optimization, daily budget pacing and bidding, using Amazon's Advertising platforms (AMS, DSP) and third-party tools (i.e. Skai).
As a dedicated Amazon Media lead for select LUXE Brand(s), this role is well integrated and will closely collaborate with the Amazon Retail and Brand teams, therefore has accountability to the team's sales targets as well.
Job Duties and Accountabilities
Own the Amazon Media budget and investment strategy, in support of brand objectives, sales goals and business opportunities. Manage monthly pacing, spend reconciliation and other related financials
Build and execute display, video, and sponsored ads that effectively recruit, engage, retain brand shoppers, and expose targeting insights and opportunities. All search and DSP campaigns are managed hands-on-keyboard via the Amazon Advertising portals or third-party tools i.e. Skai
Develop and implement consumer-centric targeting strategies from start to finish i.e. keyword mining, category and competitive analyses, 1P and 2P audience strategies, keyword and negative targeting etc.
Manage the spend pacing, daily budget, bidding, dynamic settings (i.e. dayparting, placement adjustments etc.) and reallocation between ads to maximize the investment impact
Maintain performance data for topline updates, routine reporting, and multi-variate analyses for swift optimizations
Work with Amazon Advertising account team to continually evaluate and capitalize on opportunities that improve performance and spend efficiency. Potentially test new beta opportunities and deepen reporting insights.
Present media investment and performance monthly to brand leadership and advise teams on creative opportunities (i.e. learnings from A/B test learnings) or content optimization
Stay abreast with beauty market, category performance, competitors, and keyword trends

Key Challenges, Issues and Complexity
This individual is creative, analytical and has strong communication skills. This person will manage Amazon media for their portfolio of brands while also collaborating with the team to support a rapidly growing business. This role will require a demonstrated ability to develop consumer and category knowledge and to act on the insights in collaboration with internal brand & cross functional partners. It requires continuous interaction within a matrixed business structure (Marketing, CDMO, Finance) to coordinate work and deliver objectives.
The individual must possess the ability to pivot quickly as this function is in constant evolution and the landscape is changing by the minute. This person must embody the L'Oreal values of 'test and learn' and 'fail fast' to learn the dynamics of what makes the Amazon business unique.
This individual is excited to dig into the data and identify learnings and insights that will help the greater division and its brands identify risks and opportunities while developing strong cross functional relationships.
This individual has strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, often-changing environment. This individual is also a proactive problem-solver, with the ability to quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree
3-5 years in a strategy or analytics-focused role, setting up and managing media campaigns
3-5 year of managing Amazon Advertising search campaigns
Strong experience with Media Tools such as Amazon's DSP and Skai, hands on keyboard running search is ideal
Experience in Ecommerce, Sales Planning, Finance, Analytics or similar function a plus
Advanced in Excel, data analysis and visual modeling
Experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating findings via reports and presentations
