What You Will Do
Youth To The People is looking for a skincare-loving, word-wielding, twin-flame creative Junior Copywriter to support the elevation and evolution of the brand's voice within the digital space.
The ideal candidate is an expert storyteller who can maneuver competing deadlines while synthesizing high-level campaigns into results-driven content in a fast-flowing environment. You will support the Product and Digital Marketing teams by creating original copy that educates on our PRO-GRADE VEGAN™ products, grows brand awareness, drives conversion, and elevates every touchpoint of the consumer journey. Job Duties & Accountabilities
- Support DTC team with website copy, SMS, emails, performance ads, promotions, loyalty program, blog copy, and other ad-hoc promotional/community activations
- Craft compelling, smart, and strategic content that drives results and can be fully integrated both online and offline
- Deliver taglines, campaign messaging copy, and online merchandising copy
- Protect the brand’s distinctive conversational tone of voice in all digital platforms
- Collaborate with Senior Copywriter, Directors of Marketing, Creative Director, Editorial Director, and Founders on brand voice
- Assist with the organization and flow of all brand and product copy
- Create a feeling of newness in the beauty space
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, rhetoric, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years copywriting experience in beauty
- Strong portfolio of digital work including email, website, paid media, and social campaigns
- Demonstrable knowledge of retail marketing and emerging digital trends
- Experience writing both short and long-form content
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Laser-sharp attention to detail
- An eagle eye for editing and proofreading
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Existing understanding of YTTP brand tone and voice
- Strong creative chops and a strategic mind
