Temporary Finance Assistant
We are looking for someone to assist our finance department with temporary projects at our corporate office in Schofield. We are seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented and organized individual proficient in Excel. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 3-6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Conducts routine data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable.
- Reviews documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
- Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or relevant certification.
- Experience working in Acumatica.
