Job Description:

Intermediate Project Management professional will act as the point of contact to internal and external customers to support various Maritime Systems requests. The PM works under moderate supervision to establish objectives and drive results within the Maritime Product Support Program. Communicates with contacts inside and outside the business area processes, practices, and procedures. Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Essential Functions:

  • Proposal preparation for spare & repair parts on multi-level hardware builds
  • Coordinate with Functional leads to develop baseline financial plans
  • Provide sales forecasts for labor and material
  • Oversee budgets with the responsibility to analyze, manage and report on budget performance and variance analysis
  • Establish and maintain production schedules to assure project is completed as scheduled and within budget
  • Work aggressively with functional leads to discuss risks and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Interface and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Decisive decision-making concerning project goals
  • Prepare and submit weekly report for projects, to include job progress, problem areas (including proposed solutions) and update production schedule.
  • Develop new customers and maintain a good working relationship with established customers
  • Wide Area Workflow submittal and tracking
  • Government order review for flow downs to appropriate function leads
  • Spares & repairs order entry
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through education combined with experience. Bachelor’s Degree, and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Or Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Related experience in manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environment

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Cost Point or similar platform
  • Proven team player with outstanding customer relationship skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $60k - $100k. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
