Areas of desired experience or education include: Forward Error Correction (FEC) Modulation Demodulation Digital filters Baseband sampling Acquisition Tracking Algorithms SIMD (Single Instruction/Multiple Data) parallel processing MIMD (Multiple Instruction/Multiple Data) parallel processing Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Preferred Skills: 6 years of experience implementing complex modem algorithms in DSP software. Knowledge and understanding of C/C and understanding of modern object oriented design and architecture Knowledge and experience of embedded software development Open source Linux development Low-level drivers and hardware interfaces Software defined systems, especially software-defined radios (e.g. GNU Radio) Expertise in software design for testability Expertise in laboratory debug techniques using digital scopes, logic analyzers, BERTS & other complex measurement equipment Experience with Xilinx Zynq and Xilinx Versal git, Atlassian tools (BitBucket, Confluence, & Jira
