Job Summary:
As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Sensors Division working alongside our Production team. Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing assembly of electro optical and infrared products. This role requires a secret security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Complete Assigned manufacturing process steps (i.e. Building IDCA, Dewar, LCDE, and cooler assembles)
- Complete assigned solder processes as required (i.e. Soldering components, configuring cabling, and configuring wires)
- Support group objectives for on-time delivery
- Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components for customer deliverables
- Verify use of most updated procedures
- Follow industry standard or practice for 6S
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
- Possess proficient computer skills, i.e. email, Microsoft office
- Ability to learn to read/follow drawings and work instructions
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
- Ability to use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, plyers, wire strippers, etc.
- Ability to obtain a secret department of defense security clearance upon point of hire.
