Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner and collect payments at time of service
- Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls on a multi line phone system and respond to inquiries from clients
- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and current medications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Process payments and handle financial transactions accurately
-Communicate with clients via phone, text and email
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of pet care
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for scheduling appointments and managing client records
