Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and ensuring accurate documentation of all products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock is adequate for demand. Conduct regular audits to verify accuracy of inventory records.
- Order Processing: Receive and process incoming orders, including picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, transactions, and stock levels. Generate reports on inventory activities, stock counts, and discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Inspect and evaluate incoming products for quality and accuracy. Identify and report any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze inventory levels and trends to optimize stock levels and minimize overstock or stock-outs. Implement strategies to improve inventory turnover and reduce carrying costs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as purchasing, logistics, and sales to coordinate inventory-related activities and resolve issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
