What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Manager position at LA Fitness?
The Facility Manager will have the responsibility of visiting multiple locations to fulfill repair service requests and ensure company standards through the completion of maintenance work. They visit one club per day and directly report to the Operations Manager at each club.
Essential Functions and Job Duties:
Ability to access and repair electrical, plumbing, and other club issues (lights, ballasts, paint, sinks, showers, etc.).
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability including climbing ladders, operating lifts/other equipment, work on rooftops and lifting heavy objects.
Basic computer knowledge.
Competent in using equipment and tools to maintain the clubs, including plumbing, heating, electrical, and mechanical work.
Initiate maintenance to prevent future problems in the club such as corner guards, carpet tears, leaks, drains and caulking.
Build a relationship with the club managers to ensure proper communication and timelines for all repairs/parts ordered.
Reliable transportation and proof of Insurance.
