We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team in Oaks, PA. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our pricing analysis processes during the merger process. You will utilize your expertise in Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel to extract, manipulate, analyze, and visualize pricing data, identifying trends, anomalies, and discrepancies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations for presenting pricing data trends and anomalies during the merger process.
- Employ SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various databases to identify pricing discrepancies and inconsistencies.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques in Python to perform predictive modeling and forecasting of pricing trends post-merger.
- Implement data validation processes using SQL to ensure the integrity and accuracy of pricing data across multiple systems and platforms.
- Integrate external data sources into analysis pipelines using Python, expanding the scope of insights available for pricing reconciliation.
- Apply data visualization best practices in Power BI to communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Leverage SQL stored procedures and functions to streamline repetitive data manipulation tasks and improve overall productivity.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in data analytics tools and techniques, continuously enhancing skills in Power BI, SQL, and Python to drive innovation and efficiency in pricing analysis processes.
- Investigate and resolve root causes of pricing discrepancies within the business using analytical skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and macros, to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate pricing alignment post-merger.
- Utilize Business Objects experience to generate comprehensive reports and insights for stakeholders.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring timely resolution of pricing issues to minimize impact on business operations.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to key stakeholders.
- Exemplify strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to foster effective collaboration within the team and across departments.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the pricing reconciliation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis or related field.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel.
- Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience in Business Objects is a plus.
