Barista

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos - Ensure the quality and consistency of all coffee drinks - Take customer orders and process payments accurately - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Stock and replenish supplies as needed - Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Requirements: - Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner - Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays Skills: - Coffee knowledge and expertise in brewing techniques - Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing - Food service experience, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for customers - Sales skills to promote additional products or specials to customers - Proficiency in math for accurate cash handling transactions - Knowledge of food handling safety regulations - Willingness to help out with various tasks as needed - Familiarity with retail math concepts for inventory management purposes Join our team as a Barista and be part of a dynamic and welcoming environment.
