Job Posting for Hotel Reservations Agent at La Mer Beachfront Resort
La Mer Beachfront Resort is looking for talented Hospitality Professionals to join our Reservations team!
Job Responsibilities:
Make and confirm hotel reservations. Call guests to inform them of hotel packages, special offers, upcoming events, etc. Inform guests of hotel amenities and offerings. Be informed and up-to-date on all types of room accommodation and availability. Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff as necessary. Provide local information on restaurants, special sites, activities, etc. Notify management of any serious issues that you cannot resolve. Take and deliver messages for guests. Perform various clerical tasks as needed (sorting mail, paper filing, etc.) Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous experience in customer service is required; previous hospitality industry experience is preferred. Experience using property management systems; OPERA is preferred. Computer literate and proficient using Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated strong customer service skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Personable and outgoing when dealing with guests. Professional phone demeanor. Ability to maintain calm, polite, and patient in stressful situations. Ability to connect with guests and consistently give them a positive customer experience. Ability to work flexible hours in a 24 x 7 operation; including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel Ability to frequently bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing to guests and members of the staff. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
