Our funeral assistant will be supporting funeral home operations directly at the Care center.
Some of the general duties include, cleaning, washing, organizing, and putting attention to detail. Other duties include;
- Maintain care center clean, disposing of trash, replenishing supplies, sweep and mop floors, clean inside entrance of fridges, embalming room, and prep room.
- Maintain clean and sanitized entrance and black part of care center.
- Dusts furniture and décor in the front. Clean and polish glass and tables and similar surfaces.
- Clean & sanitize restrooms, break room.
- Replace burned out lightbulbs inside facility.
- Maintain clean entry door, removing dust, bugs webbing.
- Notify management of any emergency maintenance issues.
- Fill and verify proper documentation are in accordance with the deceased.
- Verify that COC and ankle bracelet match and are in rule with hospital paperwork.
- Help embalmers, dress, casket, and transport deceased from fridge to embalming room.
- Remove and transfer remains to funeral homes for funeral services.
- Verify, transfer and document human remain to crematory.
- Verify, transfer and document cremated remains to Funeral home (if ordered)
- Maintain company vehicles clean and sanitized.
- Fuel vehicle, as necessary.
- Maintain vehicle documentation up to date as required by state law.
- Ensure that company equipment is correctly used and under good maintenance.
- Know the proper usage of PPE equipment.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
