La Quinta Inns & Suites is looking for a Front Desk Agent to provide guests with a pleasant stay by answering questions and providing assistance during check-in and check-out. You will be responsible for all aspects of guest stay, including ensuring the hotel is fully staffed, welcoming guests, and managing guest requests. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of our hotel services and hospitality best practices. You will be able to exercise good judgment in making decisions that affect guests’ experience both during and after stays. We want to be a welcoming, friendly, and helpful destination for our guests as they arrive at the hotel or visit our offices.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the hotel
- Answer phone calls and take messages in a professional manner; return calls when available
- Listening to guest needs and provide assistance
- Receive and handle incoming mail
- Coordinate with other departments when preparing documents or delivering packages
- Make reservations, reservations for hotel bookings, room bookings, travel bookings etc. etc.
- Maintain the appearance of the front desk area and the surrounding areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Proven experience as front desk agent, hotel agent or similar role

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
