Host/Hostess

We are currently seeking an individual who wants to become part of a great team. As a host/hostess, your main duty is to warmly welcome all guests upon their arrival. You need to have a polite and friendly attitude. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all customers upon arrival.
• Politely ask our guests to follow you as you will lead them to their table.
• Upon seating, offer our guests menus and inform them that their server will be right with them.
• Notify the server who is up in rotation that they have a new table. Please notify the server with the correct amount of guest and what table they are located at.
• When immediate seating is limited, write the name of the guests party, their phone number, and the number of guests within their party in the waitlist book.
• Provide our guests with an estimated wait time.
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
• Once a table has opened, call the number of the party waiting to be seated and notify them that a table has opened. (The table MUST be 100% staged and ready to go before notifying the party. We do not want our guests to be called for their table and have them wait for their table to be cleaned off).
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders. After the customer has finished placing their order, please verify their order by reading it back to them and making sure everything is in order. Make sure to get a name and number with the order and provide our customer with an estimated wait time for when their food will be ready for pickup.
• Issue bills and accept payment
• As guests are leaving, make sure to thank all guests for dining with us and that we hope to see them soon.

Pay: $13.25 per hour
