Job Overview:
The Financial Analyst, FP&A will be a key business partner to Central Laboratory Services staff at all levels of the business. This person will be responsible for monthly forecasting and budgeting; and partnering with their business leaders to help provide key analysis and inform operational decisions to help drive the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Assist with effective business planning through accurate preparation, review, and locating of monthly forecast/annual budget
- Serve as the business partner supporting CLS operational departments; working with global teams to provide support and analysis for monthly expense review, department performance metrics, capital expenditure proposals, and ad hoc reporting
- Leverage business relationships to understand revenue and expense drivers to assist in monthly financial review verses plan
- Prepare advanced financial analyses and modeling of business drivers and trends to support senior leadership
- Continually seek process improvement and to leverage data for financial insight and aid in decision making
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 5 years of providing financial analysis, support, and insight
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; demonstrates an ability to analyze issues and offer solutions
- Experienced in financial modeling and presentation tools (Hyperion Essbase, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Team oriented; works collaboratively and effectively with others by sharing ideas in a positive manner, listens to and considers ideas and suggestions from others
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicates with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to adjust priorities to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed of progress
