We're looking for a Lead Automation Engineer to help us build out our test automation suite. Your primary focus will be expanding, improving and maintaining a test automation suite for our 6 mobile apps across iOS and Android, helping to reduce release risk and improve quality.

Experienced the lifecycle of creating in-house automated tests, preferably with Appium for Native mobile applications. We’d like to leverage your experience to identify any issues or improvements with our existing test suite.
Someone who loves learning and teaching new things. Our team stays up to date with the latest trends and tools and is always looking for how we can incorporate them into our apps.
What you will be doing:
Working with a small, tight-knit, inclusive team to grow our automated test suite. The suite consists of Xray, Cucumber and Appium.
Own the entire automated test solution by establishing best practices for other developers / QA engineers who contribute to the system, assisting QA with writing and managing the queue of tests to write, provide ways to run tests, recommend and implement improvements to our system.
Develop new tests in Java with the aim of covering 6 apps across iOS and Android. These tests would be based on Xray test cases stored in Jira and written in Gherkin syntax using Cucumber BDD.
Build and improve automation via Jenkins pipeline jobs and writing/managing custom reporting scripts written in Python
Actively push our testing efforts to have a fully automated smoke suite in place to speed up regression testing and ultimately improve our ability to deliver high-quality products!
Requirements:
3 years experience with QA automation or 3 years experience as a Software Engineer (Backend, Frontend, Mobile etc.)
Expert level Java experience with demonstrated understanding and ability to write in the language.
Bonus Points if you have:
Technical knowledge using Cucumber BDD, Jenkins, Appium, Selenium, Python

Pay Range: $104,998 - $137,420
