What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Coordinator position at Labcorp?
Job Summary:
The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for performing duties in support of the Quality Management System and Site Quality Team.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:30pm
Location: On-Site, 2000 Vivigen Way, Santa Fe, NM 87505
Remote: No, this is an On-Site position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Aid in the areas of quality management within the laboratory.
- Generate reports and compile metrics for quality reviews.
- Help ensure laboratory maintains current federal, state, and local licensure and accreditation (as applicable).
- Assist Quality Manager in compiling documentation necessary for license renewal, etc.
- Assist in document control and management of policies and procedures.
- Assist with inspection readiness activities, and with on-site audits and inspections.
- Coordinate continuing education opportunities.
- Participate in Quality projects as assigned.
- Maintain filing system for various QS records
- Documenting QMR minutes in a timely fashion
EHS Responsibilities:
- Attend all required EHS training
- Wear appropriate PPE as required
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, IG/LC EHS policies, procedures and the requirements of accrediting organizations
- Conduct work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Qualifications requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in biological/chemical/physical science is preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is also preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including but not limited to the following Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
