What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Team Leader position at Labor Rocket?

Labor Rocket is hiring Production Team Leads to work at a tier-1 automotive manufacturer in Plymouth, MI. We have all shifts available and the starting pay is $19/hr plus shift premiums for this direct hire opportunity.

Required Experience:
  • Automotive experience in a highly automated production environment 
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, SAP and MES systems commonly used in production
  • Previous experience training and leading people in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic problem solving and use of continuous improvement tools  
  • Ability to perform successful hand-overs to the next shift
  • Rework or material handling experience is a plus
  • Great attitude
  • Reliability is a must
  • Willingness to adapt to change 
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug screen

Starting Pay: $19.00 shift premiums.  

Shifts:

  • A Crew: 6am-6pm Monday-Thursday - $19.00/hr 
  • B Crew: 6pm-6am Tuesday-Friday - $20.00/hr
  • C Crew: 6am-6pm (Friday/Saturday) 6pm-6am (Sunday/Monday) - $22.00/hr
