What are the responsibilities and job description for the BRICKLAYER/ MASON position at Labor Systems?
Labor Systems Temporary Services is currently hiring experienced Bricklayers/Masons. We have daily or next day pay available. We are a leader in the staffing industry, and we take pride in our safety, quality and productivity. Bricklayers are regularly engaged in work with their hands and are able to see and touch what they create. Bricklayers/Masons perform tasks involving strenuous physical labor under sometimes adverse field conditions.
Job Duties and Tasks for: Bricklayer/Mason
- Bricklayer/Mason performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in construction projects.
- Lays building materials such as brick, structural tile, and concrete cinder and block to construct or repair walls, partitions, and other structures.
- Bricklayer/Mason uses equipment and tools properly and safely to perform basic construction.
- Bricklayer/Mason performs grinding, tuckpointing, caulking, and/or other masonry tasks.
- Bricklayer/Mason must have ability to work safely on scaffold and swing stages at various heights.
- Bricklayer/Mason must have ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Bricklayer/Mason ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
- Bricklayer/Mason must bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Director or HR Coordinator.
- Bricklayer/Mason must have ability to maintain a proficient, yet teachable attitude at all times.
- Bricklayer/Mason performs physical demanding tasks, such climbing, bending, twisting and lifting.
