What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Analyst position at LaborMAX Staffing?
PThe Credit Analyst is responsible for evaluating customers credit data and financial statements and determines the degree of risk involved in lending credit. The Credit Analyst processes credit applications, verifies customers business information through a variety of sources and makes informed decisions on the line of credit amount that should be extended to customers by adhering to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
The Credit Analyst reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager. Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Qualification Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED - Required
· College Degree - Preferred
· Experience using Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) - Preferred
· Analytical Skills - Required
· Mathematic Skills
· Ability to research and evaluate data
· Critical thinking
· Independently make financial/business decisions

Physical Demands and Abilities
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position majority of time
· Occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, office equipment
· Regularly spend long hours concentrating, reviewing and entering financial information
· The person in this position frequently communicates with customers and staff who have billing inquiries and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
· The person in this position constantly operates a computer and other office equipment such as a computer printer calculator, fax machine
· Frequently work on projects with deadlines
· Frequently bend to file and maintain files and documents
· Occasionally move boxes between 5-10 pounds
