Position Summary:
Conduct quality-related activities to deliver consistent, high-quality documents; services; products and processes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Can navigate and accurately fill in information required in Chainspection
Can heat treat various grades/sizes of chain in sample furnace
Can Safely operate back-up sample furnace
Can accurately use Rockwell tester to determine hardness of material
Can operate bend tester and evaluate results
Can safely operate both tensile testers
Able to perform final inspection on boxes off the proof testers.
Communicate with operators/leads/supervisors results of tensile/visual/dimensional testing
Can accurately verify dimensional accuracy of chain

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Required Qualifications:
Must have high attention to detail and accuracy
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach overhead, or crawl
Must be able to safely negotiate 3 step ladder used at tensile testers
Must be able to lift 25lbs, at times may be asked to lift more
Production floor is non-climate controlled
Production floor is typically loud
Must wear required PPE
