What We’re Looking For: Laclede Inc is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be instrumental in optimizing pricing structures and strategies to drive profitability and market share.

What You Will be Doing: As a Pricing Analyst at Laclede Inc, you will:

Pricing Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of product and service pricing, including cost, competitor pricing, market demand, and pricing elasticity.
Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Competitive & Industry Intelligence: Monitor and analyze both industry/competitor pricing and market trends to make recommendations for adjustments to our pricing models.
Data Management: Maintain and update pricing databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Pricing Models: Develop, maintain, and improve pricing models and tools to aid in decision-making processes.
Pricing Reviews: Conduct periodic pricing reviews and recommend adjustments based on performance and market dynamics.
Margin Analysis: Analyze product margins and provide insights for margin improvement opportunities.
Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on pricing performance and key metrics for management. Additionally prepare and present financial evaluations and reports to senior management, providing recommendations based on data analysis.
Customer Segmentation: Identify and segment customers based on various factors, such as behavior, demographics, and preferences, to optimize pricing strategies.
Communication: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and initiatives.

What You Will Need: The ideal candidate for the Pricing Analyst role should have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
3 years of experience in pricing analysis, preferably in a similar industry.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
A knowledge of pricing strategies, market dynamics and competitive analysis
Experience with financial evaluation, cost analysis, and financial forecasting
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or specialized pricing software.
Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
