Hours of Operation : 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm (CST), Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch period between 10 : 00 am and 2 : 00 pm.
Responsibilities :
Provide information and required forms to prospective applicants of specialized AF programs
Provide information regarding Air Force tuition assistance, VA education benefits referrals, federal financial assistance programs, local scholarships, and Air Force Aid Society grants to all eligible personnel.
Refer students to the appropriate academic institution representative for registration and enrollment in courses or programs that pertain to their education goals.
Maintain statistical data as required by the Contracting Officer's Representative and assists with reports and other administrative tasks as requested.
Qualifications :
Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited American college or university is preferred.
Master's degree or 15-30 semester hours in counseling, secondary education or a related discipline is highly preferred.
Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication skills are essential.
Appropriate related professional work or volunteer experience of at least one year is desirable.
Knowledge of and experience with AF terminology, office procedures, and education programs plus familiarity with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
