Job Summary: The Sr. Associate Management Consultant will lead strategic planning, stakeholder outreach, and data management and analysis tasks in support of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) programs. These programs involve many of our Nation’s highest homeland security priorities such as enabling secure and interoperable emergency/public safety communications, risk management, cybersecurity, election security, countering foreign influence, secure 5G deployment, and supply chain security. This position will require working closely with Federal clients to understand program challenges and opportunities, identify and execute tasks, coordinate and collaborate with other team members, lead a variety of strategic, operational, and technical analyses, and produce required deliverables.

Salary Range: $70K - $85K

Job Responsibilities:
- Aid in development of plans and policies that reduce risks and align with organizational cybersecurity and risk management initiatives and requirements
- Develop and manage updates to project planning documents such as project charters, standard operating procedures, deliverable trackers, and roadmaps/schedules
- Manage or perform qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering to identify key themes, trends, and opportunities from complex information to support implementation of federal cybersecurity and risk management initiatives
- Analyze operational, technical, strategic, and policy information to develop recommendations for improvements in business processes and support execution of process improvements using streamlined approaches
- Conduct customer and stakeholder analyses by capturing and summarizing key points from meetings and translating insights into products such as plans, briefings, reports, fact sheets, talking points, and white papers
- Assist with development and delivery of strategic messaging and associated communications materials such as infographics
- Build strong relationships with mid- and senior-level clients and stakeholders
- Provide meeting planning, facilitation, notetaking and logistics support
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of external client-facing management consulting experience for government agencies leading tasks and managing/developing client deliverables
- Ability to understand complex risk management program policies/plans/directives, and then apply knowledge to develop deliverables and stakeholder engagement products
- Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience designing/developing deliverables in a variety of formats
- Demonstrated problem-solving, solution development, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated experience working and building relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
- Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership
- Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and to think conceptually, strategically, and learn quickly
- Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, and work on several projects simultaneously
- Ability to attain a U.S. government public trust and/or security clearance, if required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Existing security clearance or current DHS or CISA Entry on Duty (EOD) status
- Experience and/or interest in homeland security and cybersecurity/risk management programs
