Quickbooks Administrator

THE POSITION:

The QuickBooks Administrator is responsible for accounts payable/receivable and assisting the Controller and Office Manager with other accounting functions within multiple entities.

Skills & Qualifications:

• General Math Skills - Accounting knowledge is a plus.
• General office experience.
• Written and verbal Communication Skills.
• Ability to Multitask and Prioritize jobs.
• Attention to Detail.
• QuickBooks Experience (willing to train).

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Pay miscellaneous invoices.
• Post invoices into QuickBooks system.
• Answer vendor inquiries.
• Print checks for payment.
• Post receivable checks to accounts.
• Maintain various Excel worksheets.
• Process daily bank deposits.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Identify and address account discrepancies.
• Handle confidential and non-routine information.
• Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring/ongoing projects.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
