LaForce is looking for an Process Coordinator to be responsible for coordinating metal frame work orders for shop production and / or for purchasing.
The process includes evaluation of engineering change orders and the technical application of metal frames and door hardware.
The position also involves preparing shop work orders through the development of shop tickets.
Major Responsibilities
Coordinate and expedite processing and manufacturing work orders for the shop to include the following activities : review of orders for clarity and completeness, design feasibility, application and troubleshooting work orders for production and / or purchasing.
Work cooperatively with the frame shop production coordinators to maximize production for manufacturing of parts and materials for orders.
- Work cooperatively with sales, engineering, customer service and production to assure accurate information about customer requirement of application.
- Assess frame type as to be manufactured or assembled from stock, verify raw material and standard inventory availability and identify needs for production of work order.
- Verify door hardware schedule for every frame to be complete and that the preps required do not interfere with each other.
- Pull and update required manufacturing templates and other hardware locations for work orders.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree Preferred; 1-2 years office experience preferred
- Ability to successfully navigate Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to define practical problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to solve problems.
- Ability to complete basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, working with decimals and fractions, etc.
- Successful completion of a drug screen and background check required
