This individual will be involved with the machining of a variety of materials to produce parts that meet dimensional and workmanship standards per Laitram Machine Shop's Quality Management System.

- Deburr and clean parts as needed for safety and/or customer technical requirements
- Assist assembly in accordance to customer and drawing requirements
- Meets or exceed production time standards while exceeding quality and customer expectations
- Follow the attendance policy outlined for department
- Complete error free transaction in Kronos/Oracle
- Recommend/complete routing updates with work instructions and production standards
- Possess a strong attention to detail
- Assist in various area’s in the shop as customer demand requires
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible schedule as needed to meet customer due dates
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Has and retains reliable transportation
- Follow all safety procedures and Policies
- Able to work overtime/Saturday’s when needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
- Able to work under the pressure of deadlines
- Must be willing and able to perform a variety of tasks in support of short and long-term department goals
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 40 lbs
