Lake Butler Hospital is a critical access hospital in North Florida providing 24-hour emergency services, inpatient hospitalization, swing bed program, rehabilitation services, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient radiology (X-ray, ultrasound, and CT Scan) services to Union County and the surrounding counties. We are seeking an knowledgeable and experienced full-time HR Manager to join our team at Lake Butler Hospital.

Under the direction of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the HR Manager will assist in leading and directing functions of the HR department including performance management, employee engagement programs, employee education, policy and handbook development, employee relations, recruiting, and more!  This position requires a dynamic, positive attitude, and a high attention to detail!

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Experience: A minimum of five to seven years of human resource management experience required.  Experience with Paylocity as an administrator preferred.

Skills:  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

Knowledge: 

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• HR experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting preferred.

Abilities: 

• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
