This is a 12-month position.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate; post high school course work in business preferred
- Two years of secretarial experience strongly preferred
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel
- Must have exemplary interpersonal skills
- Must be available and able to perform job duties
- Must be dependable (i.e., attendance, team player, meeting deadlines, etc.)
- Must be able to maintain composure in emergency situations
- Must be a positive representative for LOCS
- Must be able to establish and maintain professional office atmosphere
- Have knowledge and be adept at accounting procedures
- Must have demonstrated ability to work with others effectively
- Must be able to effectively maintain records
- Must demonstrate knowledge of office management procedures
- Must have exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Must have superior organizational skills
- Must be a self-starter
- Must sign technology agreement
- Must sign confidentiality agreement
- Requires lifting
Description:
- Office duties such as answering phones, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, and etc.
- Update and maintain vehicle inventory program
- Maintain employee records
- Process purchase orders
- Reconcile credit card billing
- Inventory and order of office supplies
- Assist in compiling state reports
- Review and maintain exceptions log
- Utilize district absence management system and reconcile all staff absences
- Utilize district payroll system and approve all staff time sheets
- All other office responsibilities as designated by administration
