Job Posting for Long Term Substitute - Teacher SHS 2024/2025 at Lake Pend Oreille School District
Substitute Teachers provide necessary support for the continuation of student learning during a Teacher's absence.
This is a recruitment position for a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Sandpoint High School for the 2024/25 School Year. Work hours and assignments will vary.
While a Teaching Certificate is not required, an active or expired Teaching Certificate is preferred. The daily pay rate for the 2024/25 school year is $120/day for this position, and includes sick leave days.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or higher OR
- 32 semester credit hours of higher education OR
- Passing score on the Parapro Assessment Test (Click here for information about the test, then contact LPOSD Human Resources for scheduling.)
If you are interested in working with us as a Substitute Paraprofessional, Transportation Flex Driver, or Substitute All Other (Custodial, Child Nutrition, Aide, Library, Secretary) you will need to indicate those separately in Vacancy Desired.
Lake Pend Oreille School District reserves the right to close this position prior to the posted Application Deadline at its discretion.
LPOSD will accord a preference to employment of veterans of the U.S. Armed Services in accord with provisions of Idaho Code 65-503 or it successor.
