Coaches in Lake Pend Oreille School District are an important part of students' education as student-athletes. Extra-curricular activities enhance student learning and engagement with their school and community.
The stipend for Junior High Coaches for the 2023-2024 school year was $3,031. Upon Board approval, stipends will be updated for the 2024-2025 school year.
Join the District in providing healthy activities for students. As the Middle School Coach, you'll work with the High School Head Coach to set expectations for students, provide training on the individual sport and coordinate scheduling for sporting events.

Minimum Qualifications-
Ability to work effectively withstudents, staff, parents/guardians and other stakeholders

Previous coaching experience in related sport preferred
All Coaches - Yearly Required Trainings:
All coaches and sponsors need to complete the following trainings and turn in a current certificate to me, ASAP.
First Aid & CPR Certification within 90 days of hire, and maintenance of current certificate thereafter.
St. Luke's Concussion Course: Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course: Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
NFHS Student Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Course: Course taken yearly and current certificate on file.
