ENGLISH TEACHER

Currently Calumet High School has one full-time English teaching position open.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Continue the development of and organization of a team taught, technology based, integrated English curriculum that meets state, district, and national school standards.
- Effectively use computer and technology skills consistent with the school’s operating standards.
- Using authentic assessment methods, evaluate student progress and adapt individual programs to meet student needs.
- Work cooperatively with other personnel to improve instructional programs and the overall operation of the school.
- Assist in development of distance learning technologies.
- Any other duties as assigned by the building principal.
Minimum Requirement
- Possession of a valid Indiana Secondary English Teacher's License.
- Able to demonstrate effective teaching and computer skills with experience in Project Based Learning practices.
