Community Impact Manager
This role will lead Lake Trust’s community engagement and development programs; delivering on the goals for improving the social impact delivered to communities. This role will lead the expansion of programs designed for increasing team members’ volunteer engagement. Manage Lake Trust’s CDFI programs. In addition, it will play a vital role in the development of new relationships and partnerships that will enhance the influence and impact Lake Trust has in relevant communities and populations. This position will serve as the Managing Director of The Lake Trust Foundation managing grant and scholarship programs and increasing donor engagement and giving. Additionally, will provide and identify opportunities for influence and impact that can be solved by Lake Trust solutions. Provides education across the organization on key community issues. Lead and develop Lake Trust’s community investment programs working driving integration and accountability as a critical component of business success.
Identify and Create programs and value propositions for key stakeholders that are part of Lake Trust’s ecosystem (members/vendors/partners/etc.) to build value in our communities related to our focused areas of impact.
Measure and report on the company’s community investment initiatives and activities; including measuring the number of participants and volunteer hours of key stakeholders (employees, members, partners, etc), the amount of the donations raised by stakeholders, social value impact of projects and successful launch of CDFI related new products serving underserved communities.
Execute voice of communities (VOC) for new offerings to identify strategically relevant opportunities where Lake Trust can make a difference.
Collaborate with the internal communication and Brand Engagement functions to create impactful messaging to influence and inspire others to participate and ensure broad-based support for the program.
Represent the company in select public forums to improve stakeholder relations and corporate reputation.
Operate across organizational boundaries driving the company’s corporate community investment programs, strategy and goal implementation with limited direct authority over business leaders who must be influenced.
Regularly update organization on corporate reinvestment and impact goals.
Build trusting internal relationships as a central point of contact and expert in community reinvestment and impact decision-making.
Manage a team of Community Development Managers to execute on programs in support of Lake Trust’s Community Reinvestment Strategies.
Build strong trusting relationships with key external stakeholders such as community groups and key influencers
Build and maintain a healthy and cooperative network of peer counterparts in other organizations useful for gathering information and sharing ideas regarding corporate social investment
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree; master degree preferred
5-8 years of community building/relationship development and/or fundraising experience
Experience building programs / offerings / value propositions for different segments of populations.
Experience in crafting communications aimed at influencing individuals
Experience dealing with multi-stakeholder partnerships, and community involvement.

Emotional, political and business acumen
Proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
