Front Desk Manager - Lake Blackshear Resort / GA Veterans State Park
Cordele, GA Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club / Georgia Veterans State Park, located in Cordele, Georgia, is looking for an extraordinary Front Office Manager.

In addition, Lake Blackshear Resort has 88 rooms, villas and lake cabins, a full service fine dining restaurant and bar, seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, conference center, marina with boat rental, 18 hole-golf course, and programed activities.
We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.
Summary : This position is responsible for providing the highest degree of hospitality and service possible to our guest in the resort, cabins and camp ground.
This includes guest making reservations, greeting as they enter the park (Kiosk), checking in, during their stay and check-out at the conclusion of their stay.
This position reports to the Operations Manager and provides Supervision over the Resort Front Desk, Visitor Center Guest Representatives, and Kiosk personnel.
Duties :
Provide supervision to associates to include : hiring, training, corrective action, and providing performance feedback.
Establishes standards and procedures for work of Visitor Attendants and Guest Services Associates.
Education and / or Experience : 2-3 years leadership experience in a full-service hotel / resort or equivalent experience.
Computer literate, good financial skills, able to control costs / labor, sales oriented, be an added value to the leadership team, great written and verbal communication skills, willing to be involved in the marketing and program aspects of the Park, detail oriented, great with guests and employees, able to instill a sense of pride in the Front Desk and Visitor Center teams by training and holding personnel accountable the standards.
