Our goal is to build a collective of teachers of the arts to inspire and build the next generation of artists in the Lakeland area and beyond.

The ideal Teacher will be a self starter interested in growing his/her own business. Ideal candidates will be passionate for sharing their love of art with others. They will have the ability to organize lessons so learning is a fun, easy and meaningful process. We want all of our teachers to be uplifting, encouraging and to work well with one another.
Responsibilities for Art Teachers include:
- Cultivate a positive learning environment for students
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Collaborate with parents and other teachers as professionally appropriate
- Build your own business - Lakeland Arts Academy will help with some marketing and business growth.
Skills
- Proven experience as a teacher
- Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-organized, self-motivated and committed
- Good time-management
- Creative and energetic
- Strong moral values and discipline
- Undergrads are welcome
