Responsible for receiving all referrals, answering phones during work hours, completing Cerner documentation, verifications for Medicaid, participating in cross-training activities within the department in order to perform those duties when necessary, maintaining minutes for the monthly staff, mid-month staffing meetings and distributing minutes to staff. Duties also include assisting the Director with filing and other duties as assigned, maintaining an agenda book of monthly staffing minutes and keeping an updated file/spreedsheet of children who do not qualify for services. Works closely and harmoniously with fellow staff and other team members to facilitate a cohesive and productive work environment. Must have good communication skills in order to communicate honestly and directly while maintaining the dignity of others.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED, plus two full-time employment performing billing and collection functions. Experience in the management of state and local database systems.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Prefer to have at least 2 years experience in Early Childhood Intervention and or an BH/DD setting. Need to be familiar with billing processes in order to ensure that all revenue sources are maximized.
