Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Service Technician for one of their clients, a large, well-known organization based out of Elgin, Illinois. This is an onsite, contract position for 2 years and pays $17.00- $18.00 per hour (depending on experience).
Background and drug screen (no THC) is required upon hire.
Job Duties:
- This person will configure, test, and ship sophisticated telecommunication equipment.
- Need to have experience setting up and configuring Windows computers, servers and networking devices.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for 8 hours (or more if working overtime)
- Moderate Windows/Google Computer skills and ability to read/enter data as required
- Ability to read build and configuration documentation.
Qualifications:
- Prefer someone with a Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience -and/or someone with less experience with a technical degree/certification.
- Quality/Safety conscious with ability to stay focused and pay attention to detail.
- Good attendance record and must be able to work 40 hours plus (including weekend work)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Quick learner with ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Must be willing to rotate between various positions in the organization based on business needs.
- Must wear steel toed shoes.
