Position Summary
The Laborer is responsible for ensuring proper sorting of materials on the conveyor are being removed and placed in corresponding containers.
Responsibilities

Inspect and sort materials according to size, type and condition

Keep work area and all surrounding areas clean

Report all unsafe work conditions or equipment issues immediately to supervisor

Attend and participate in safety meetings

Wear required personal protective equipment at all times

Perform other job duties as assigned

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

Requires bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting material, sometimes in excess of 50 lbs.

Requires working in indoor and outdoor conditions which are dusty and noisy

Requires working in a physical environment that will expose employees to weather extremes

Requires working for long periods of time while standing
