Job Posting for Maintenance Planner at Lakeside Book Company
Starting Rate: $20.00-$24.86 per hour for day shift with a $.50 an hour shift differential for night shift.

Work Hours: Day shift, 8 hours
Location: We have 2 locations in Crawfordsville, IN: North Plant at 1009 Sloan Street; South Plant at 600 State Road 32 West. This job is for the South Plant.
As a Maintenance Planner, you will:
Manage, coordinate and schedule all maintenance and repair activities.
Prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules that are in sync with the company’s maintenance goals.
Adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work
Act as the primary liaison between maintenance and operations
Keep track of supply and material inventories.
Purchase equipment, tools or materials that may be required.
Update maintenance logs for all machinery.
Perform regular inspections to ensure tools and machinery are in working order
Establish and maintain a reliable network of vendors and suppliers to ensure cost effective and timely support of the maintenance function.
Ensure all permits and licenses are maintained.
Ensures that all policies and procedures are followed related to the performance of the maintenance function.
Establish and communicate the level of quality and safety that is expected during the performance of maintenance tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 20-50 pounds
Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
Qualifications:
Ability to do basic math and computer knowledge
Prior knowledge of maintenance tasks preferred
