Veterinary Technician Externship

Here at Lakeside Veterinary Hospital, we are committed to providing unrivaled veterinary medical services to companion animals. Our location sees dogs, cats, and occasionally pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and small farm animals. Our team operates on the pillars of integrity, service, and excellence; we treat each pet as our own and make every resource available to pet owners to allow them to make educated decisions regarding pet health and happiness. We handle emergencies out of our 24-hour location to provide emergency referral service when clients are in need of after-hours or critical care.

Whether our clients seek service for a dog, cat, or exotic pet, we are well-equipped to manage a wide variety of cases. Our doctors are skilled in wellness care as well as advanced procedures. Lakeside Veterinary Hospital regularly performs ultrasounds, digital x-rays, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and lab work in-house.

We are located in Herrin – a cozy community in Southern Illinois. Must be in an active Veterinary Technician Program from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
